At Shreveport's newest Indian restaurant, Utsav, were author-photographer Neil Johnson, his assistant Paula O'Neal and intern Sara Hebert. They were tucking into Bengoli Fish Curry, Veggie Biryani and Shahi Paneer. For dessert there were exotic ice creams, carrot pudding and sweets in sauces.
June 25 photographer Johnson is opening his studio, corner of Louisiana Ave and Stoner, to the public for a day. "I'm turning the studio into a gallery and opening the historic building - partly because so many people have asked me what it looks like," he explained. It also celebrates NJPhoto.com's 25th year in business.
